Sight Words
Kindergarten
Directions:
Print the Concentration Cards, Sightinoes Cards, Go Fish
Cards, Matching Cards, Small Cards for Game Boards, and
Swingo Boards on card stock and laminate. Make two sets
of the Concentration and Go Fish Cards. These ideas were
adapted from Cherry Carl's activities at
http://www.carlscorner.us/ . Go to
Cherry's site and click on Game Board Grove on the left
to get game boards to use with the Small Cards. Also, go
to Words of the Week on Cherry's site to get more great
Dolch word activities. She has some wonderful
comprehension books for each of her lists. My
online activities were made at
http://www.quia.com
and the word search and word scramble were made with
Wordsheets from
http://www.qualint.com . Clipart for the matching
cards, word configuration sheets, Go Fish Cards,
Sightinoes Cards, and slide show came
from Print Master 16 by Broderbund.
If you don't
have Microsoft Office Power Point 2003 to be able to see
the Power Point slide show, you can get a free viewer by
going to the following site and clicking on download in
the blue box.

I color
coded each set of cards, word lists, and game boards so
that if one gets misplaced, you will know to which set
it belongs. These are the corresponding colors:
